Chapter 4
For the fourth event in the series, FENWOMEN travelled to Great Yarmouth to form the closing event for this year's YARMONICS programme — a one day festival of experimental sound and new music that happened in various sites across the town on Saturday 21st September 2024. We were thrilled to have the artist and harpist Arianne Churchman headlining this event, alongside readings from Lotte L.S and Rose Higham-Stainton. The event took place in the enigmatic surroundings of the old Herring Smoking Works, latterly a potteries, in the medieval wall of the town, replete with fishing tackle and nets, and burnished windows from the kiln.
